New faces, new kit and new skills, as we bolster our packaging division.
In November we firmly stated our commitment to UK print manufacturing by putting in place a team that will facilitate the development of new markets. We have recruited 14 key members of staff with the objective of offering a full packaging service from our Nottingham site.

Previously acting as a disaster recovery partner for a local packaging company for many years, Sherwood Press has a unique perspective and understanding of the style, content and capacity of work involved with the retained UK packaging marketplace. Our current machinery largely mirrors the required production capabilities and complementary finishing equipment has been sourced with the objective that all equipment and staff will be in position by the time this newsletter reaches you.

Furthermore, given the increased mix of food related products being produced on site, the team are working towards BRCIOP food accreditation. This will bring the factory?s facilities in-line to be able to produce direct food contact work and extend our capabilities within this growing market sector for the group.
